What is Through Our Eyes?
Through Our Eyes, Inc. is an organization created to ensure that physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available to all children with physical and cognitive challenges in Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, LaGrange, and Kosciusko counties of Indiana. Our purpose is to create a support system for children and their families seeking therapy services, assistance in daily care giving, and the children's perception of their circumstances.
Why?
There is a limited variety of facilities offering pediatric therapy services. Children over three years of age with lifetime limitations, who no longer qualify for the Early Intervention Program, are underserved. Pediatric therapy echo " is a specialty, and the children deserve a place designated especially for them, with skilled therapist to work with heir primary care physicians to manage their echo " care. We recognize that the deficits exist and feel that is our mission to echo " secure treatment options for these families.
It is our goal to see that all of these children receive the developmental care they need to thrive. By providing therapeutic interventions, the children can move, play, and communicate to their full potential. Through Our Eyes, Inc. wishes for its name to be a reminder to all to take a moment and ask, "What would the world look like through their eyes?
